SHORT BIOGRAPHY
NAVEL4EVE utilizes DIY technologies to craft rhythms & melodies electronically; melding them with seductive, charismatic vocals and approaching it all with an unorthodox, autodidactic view where personal expression is the overriding priority. Predominantly experienced live, NAVEL4EVE’s subjects and sophisticated compositions on one end of the spectrum playfully promenade around poppy, kitsch structures & lyrics--yet irreverence and genuine disposition elevates the music to something both empathic and infectious. Already apparent on the 2002 release gogogo is a fusion of numerous styles, opposite the neotenic; running the gamut from tenebrous and cynical to obliquely sinister.

NAVEL4EVE: the sobriquet alone evokes the bathos of high-stomached disworship, fitting for this gracile musician who might be their generation's embodiment of the personification of musicality's pluperfection. Titillating as a supernumerary pap, the indolently prolific autodidact NAVEL4EVE engineers from behind this nom de guerre collections of accessible experimental electroacoustical antipop songs laden with catchy hooks, pulsating beats, infectious melodies, and addictive vocals. In fact, oft times NAVEL4EVE's refrains ironically ensorcel the listener into oubliettes of lyrical subvocalisations from which, maddeningly, there can be no amnesty but fulsome protractions of time.
